Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at a field distribution company in Bolingbrook Illinois. This is a temporary to permanent position with the opportunity for longterm employment for the right candidate. As a Warehouse Associate you will play a crucial role in the daytoday operations of the warehouse ensuring that products are received stored and shipped efficiently and accurately.
Responsibilities:
Receive unpack and inspect incoming shipments of products
Accurately record and report any damaged or missing items
Label and organize products for storage in the warehouse
Pick and pack orders for shipment to customers
Use forklifts and other equipment to move products around the warehouse
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
Follow all safety procedures and protocols
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred
Forklift certification is a plus
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Basic computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
Must be reliable punctual and able to work independently
