Are you seeking an opportunity to join a highlyregarded IT development firm
Well look no further! WebCreek is currently seeking a Senior Python Developer with over five years of experience to work onsite in Houston Texas. If youre not based in this city but are open to relocating at your own expense we encourage you to apply! Were excited to meet you.
What Youll Do
Design build and maintain efficient reusable and reliable code.
Troubleshoot maintain and improve existing software.
Help maintain code quality organization and automation.
Develop APIs.
Perform database queries.
Collaborate closely with other developers UX designers project managers business analysts and QA analysts.
What You Have
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in software development
Strong proficiency in Python particularly in API implementation
Proven experience developing RESTful APIs
Experience with SQL databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL or Oracle; either is acceptable)
Handson experience in API development
Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes and GitHub Actions
Excellent soft skills including communication and teamwork
Strong debugging and troubleshooting abilities for software issues
Quick learner with the ability to work independently or collaboratively
High attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications (NicetoHaves)
Experience with the .NET Framework
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
Knowledge of TSDB (Time Series Databases)
