About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Womens Services to lead our Labor and Delivery Postpartum and Nursery/NICU Units. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer this critical role ensures highquality safe and compassionate care while promoting excellence in clinical practice and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee 24/7 operations of the Womens Services units ensuring clinical excellence and optimal patient outcomes.
Develop and implement departmental goals policies and procedures that align with quality standards and regulatory compliance.
Supervise and evaluate nursing personnel fostering an environment of professional growth and continuous improvement.
Monitor and manage departmental budgets ensuring operational and financial efficiency.
Collaborate with leadership to assess performance objectives and strategic goals.
Oversee recruitment hiring training and performance management of nursing staff.
Drive initiatives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Actively participate in quality improvement safety protocols and compliance initiatives.
Qualifications:
Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
Bachelors degree required (BSN preferred); Masters degree highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of RN experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification required.
Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
