Job Description
Autolivs primary goal is to Save More Lives. Our products never get a second chance. We are working to increase vehicle safety by developing seatbelts airbags and steering wheels and you can join our team as an Industrial Engineer in the Inflators Division.
Job responsibilities:
- Participates in the concept development of the new production lines and new infrastructure equipment.
- Participates in the launch or transfer of production lines.
- Design modify and improve components and systems of the production line to enhance efficiency and functionality.
- Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks AutoCAD etc. to design test and prototype components and systems.
- Conduct time studies process analysis and layout optimizations to improve workflow and reduce inefficiencies.
- Contribute to the respect of product quality and safety regulations.
- Redaction of the line specifications in accordance with the Autoliv manufacturing process specifications and Autoliv standards.
- Take part in the creation of the PFMEA.
- Monitoring the suppliers activity for achieving quality and deadlines.
- Take part in the line validation before the start of production.
- Creation of line documentation.
- Tracking and achieving departmentspecific KPIs (cycle time productivity etc).
Experience:
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks CATIA or similar tools).
- Knowledge of design and conception of technical parts.
- Strong knowledge of mechanics and automated processes.
- Knowledge of electricity.
- Knowledge of process performance analysis.
- Experience in process engineering on automated lines can be an advantage.
Personal skills:
- Working knowledge of English.
- Teamoriented.
- Good autonomy.
