Job Description

Key Information:
- Position: Computer Science Teacher (KS3 and KS5
- Location: Northampton
- Start Date: April 2025
- Salary: MPS1 UPS3 (dependent on experience)
- Contract: Fulltime or parttime
About the Role: As a Computer Science Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students at KS3 and KS5. You will be working in a wellequipped department providing students with the tools and knowledge to succeed in both their GCSEs and ALevel exams. Responsibilities:
- Teach Computer Science to KS3 and KS5 students
- Deliver engaging lessons that promote understanding and passion for the subject
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
- Foster an inclusive and positive classroom atmosphere

Experience and Qualifications:
- Degree in Computer Science or a related subject
- QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3 and KS5 (desirable)
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Salary: The salary for this Computer Science Teacher position will be paid to scale MPS/UPS.
