As Compliance Manager you dont just oversee complianceyou lead it. Youll guide a team of 3 compliance professionals ensuring that every Rituals product meets strict regulatory standards while staying true to our brand essence. Collaborating closely with suppliers internal teams and regulatory authorities you make sure our customers worldwide receive only the best.
In this role your time will be divided as follows:
- 35 operational tasks managing compliance documentation and processes to ensure our assortment meets global regulations.
- 35 project management leading key compliance projects driving process improvements and embedding compliance into our quality strategy.
- 30 people management leading mentoring and inspiring a team of three compliance professionals providing them with direction coaching and support.
In this role you will:
- Guide coach and motivate a team of three compliance professionals offering them direction mentorship and support.
- Report to the Head of Quality as part of the Sourcing Quality & Regulatory Department.
- Act as the first point of contact for compliancerelated topics across internal teams international sales organizations and regulatory authorities.
- Oversee and manage compliance documentation and processes to ensure our assortment meets global regulations.
- Lead key compliance projects driving process improvements and embedding compliance into our quality strategy.
- Be the business ambassador for product safety and legislation supporting the Head of Quality in communication with authorities.
Qualifications :
Were looking for a Compliance Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys leading a team making strategic decisions and keeping an eye on every detail. You have:
- A degree in Chemistry Law or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in managing and developing a team helping them grow and succeed (people management experience is a must).
- 10 years of experience in Compliance or Regulatory Affairs preferably in cosmetics or FMCG.
- A deep understanding of EU and international regulations (EU Cosmetics Regulation CLP REACH etc..
- Experience in packaging compliance (PPWD/PPWR) is a big plus.
- Strong leadership skillsbalancing handson operational work with strategic decisionmaking.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
- A solutiondriven mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and work under tight deadlines.
