You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailManage the activities of the urology service from initial consultation to pre assessment and discharge liaising with the Consultants Nursing Staff and all other health care professionals and support services.
Communicate results of assessments treatment / care programmes and recommendations to the team and relevant others in accordance with service policy as required.
To assess report and respond to complaints from patients and relatives within a reasonable or required timeframe.
Participate in the identification development and delivery of induction education training and development programmes for nursing and healthcare staff and support staff.
Exercise authority and coordinate the functions of the urology services for e.g. but not limited to Bladder instillations Urodynamic pressure flow and uroflow testing female and male catheterisation selfcatheterisation training and Lithotripsy service.
Provide staff leadership and motivation which is conducive to good working relations and work performance.
Be registered in the General Division of register of Nurses held by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
A minimum of 5 years post registration experience in an acute hospital setting in the last 5 years.
A minimum of 12 months relevant experience in the specialist care of Urology patients in a fastpaced environment.
Hold a relevant Post Graduate Clinical Qualification in Urology
Strong people management and change management experience.
