Job Description
Biology Teacher Kingston Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Kingston has a vacancy for a dedicated and enthusiastic Biology Teacher to join their Science department. This is a fulltime permanent position primarily teaching Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver highquality Biology lessons that meet the requirements of the National Curriculum and examination specifications.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of biology.
- Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of the Biology curriculum within the Science department.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices.
- To be a member of an Outstanding school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Biology or a closely related subject.
- Proven experience teaching Biology at the secondary level including ALevel.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for biology.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- The desire to be a Biology Teacher.
