Barback

We are looking for a Barback for our client located in Memphis TN. The shift is 3pm 11pm (may be later depending on business needs).Weekend and holiday availability required. Starting pay is $15 an hour. Previous experience is required. Bilingual is a plus.

Restocking liquor bottles and changing out kegs.

Learning cocktail recipes as well as other menu options.

Cleaning bar and table surfaces before after and throughout the shift.

Wiping down chairs and any other areas as needed.

Removing and disposing of bags from trash cans in and around the bar area.

Removing used glassware as well as other utensils from customers table during their stay.

Sweeping and mopping in and around bar service areas also in customer common areas.

Answering customer questions and escalating customer complaints to the appropriate staff member.

Assisting bartenders with taking customer orders and processing orders in the pointofsale system as needed.

Stocking bar items as needed (this may include restocking for bar opening or closing).

Ensuring that taps coolers and other appliances like blenders or coffee makers are working properly; troubleshooting simple malfunctions as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Previous experience as a Barback in a hotel restaurant or similar setting.
  
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Attention to detail
  
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays.
