Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations. This role involves overseeing the endtoend procurement process managing tenders and ensuring the acquisition of goods and services aligns with the company s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will drive strategic sourcing initiatives foster strong supplier relationships and manage all aspects of the tendering process to deliver optimal value while maintaining compliance and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
Tender Management: Oversee the entire tendering process including preparing and issuing tender documents conducting pretender briefings evaluating bids negotiating contract terms and awarding contracts.
Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement costeffective procurement strategies that align with business objectives and operational requirements.
Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong supplier relationships negotiate favorable terms and establish longterm strategic partnerships.
Team Leadership: Lead mentor and manage the procurement team ensuring their professional growth and alignment with company goals.
Market Research & Analysis: Stay updated on market trends industry standards and supply chain developments to optimize procurement decisions and identify costsaving opportunities.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with finance legal and operations teams to streamline procurement processes and ensure crossfunctional alignment.
Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations company policies and industry best practices while mitigating potential risks.
Performance Reporting: Provide senior management with regular reports on procurement activities tender outcomes supplier performance and cost optimization initiatives.
Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field (Master s degree is an advantage).
Experience: At least 10 years of procurement or supply chain management experience with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
Tender Expertise: Proven experience managing the full tendering lifecycle including bid preparation evaluation negotiation and contract award.
Procurement Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement processes strategic sourcing contract negotiation and supplier management.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation abilities to drive value and maintain effective supplier partnerships.
