Operations Manager Asset Finance (UK & Ireland)

Your Role:
As the Operations Manager Asset Finance (UK & Ireland) you will be at the forefront of optimizing and managing credit operations in a rapidly growing market. You will lead a team of four ensuring seamless lending operations maintaining high operational standards and driving process efficiencies within the asset finance sector. This role requires a blend of handson operational management and strategic oversight to support the financing of green energy assets for businesses across the UK and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
Credit Operations Management: Oversee and refine the credit process from initial applications to settlements ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Agreement Structuring & Documentation: Lead the development of financing agreements aligning with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Settlement & Remittance Procedures: Streamline financial transactions to enhance accuracy and operational effectiveness.
Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor a team of four fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning in credit operations.
Process Improvement: Continuously refine workflows policies and scripts to drive efficiency and maintain toptier service standards.
Risk Assessment & Management: Conduct financial analyses and risk assessments ensuring all loans meet company criteria and regulatory guidelines.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure full compliance within the lending operations.
Operational Efficiency: Implement strategies to optimize lending processes and contribute to the company s market expansion.
What You Bring:
Degree in finance business administration or a related field
Extensive experience in a similar role within financial services preferably in asset finance
Strong knowledge of lending procedures and risk assessment
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to think creatively and solve complex problems
Experience working in or managing remote teams
Understanding of the decarbonization asset market including solar systems storage and EV charging
