Job Description
Lipscomb Academys Academic Support Program is looking for qualified and experienced tutors to provide inperson tutoring to students. Opportunities are available for all subjects and grade levels.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide onetoone and/or smallgroup instruction
- Contribute to student learning growth and advancement
- Demonstrate academic competence in the subject area(s) and knowledge of instructional strategies and techniques
- Maintain a growth mindset toward student learning and teaching practice
- Facilitate problemsolving and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Collaborate effectively with students parents faculty and staff to increase student performance
- Ability to interact positively and professionally with students faculty and staff in a professional manner
- Manage student records electronically
- Maintain confidentiality of student records
May be Federal Work Study eligible.
