TITLE:Assistant Bakery Manager
REPORTS TO: Bakery Manager
Position Summary:
TheNothing Bundt Cakes(NbC)AssistantBakeryManagerworks alongside the Bakery Manager and team members tocreate the highestquality cakes a warm welcoming environmentanda superiorguest experience.The Assistant Bakery Manager shares in team leadership andcollaborates withthe Bakery Managerindriving sales and profitability executing daytoday responsibilitiesandensuringthatall aspects of the bakery operationcomply with NbCstandards.This role servesasan importantcarrier of theNbCcultureto reinforcecore valuesand bring our brand to life for our team members and guests.
Accountabilities/Duties:
Prioritizes the guest experience models superiorguest engagementandfostersa positive work environment.
Partners withtheBakery Managerin leadingall aspects of the guest experiencecake productionbrand and merchandise presentation work environment P&Lmanagement andinventorycontrol.
Supports the Bakery Manager in recruitingselectingand trainingteam membersdirectingdailyworkresponsibilitiesandprovidingperformancefeedback andcoaching.
EnsuresNbCproduct servicebakery environment andvisualmerchandisingstandardsareconsistently upheldand that all bakery operationsadhere tofood and health safety standards and NbC policiesand procedures.
Assists the Bakery Manager in executing operational and administrative responsibilities which may include cake production plans productivity goal setting team scheduling supply ordering sales and labor reporting basic accounting and expense control procedures and payroll processing.
Comanages specialorder fulfillment via web and email for individual guests and corporate accounts as well as large complex orders and deliveries.
Cofacilitates the opening and closing of the bakery including cashdrawer balancing and bank deposits.
Contributes to marketingstrategy in the local community by helping to coordinate and participatingin special brandbuildingevents.
Maintains handson knowledge of all bakery roles and steps in regularly to perform various responsibilities as business needs dictate.

EducationCertifications and Work Experience Requirements:
High school diplomaor GED; postsecondary education is a plus.
13 years ofguestfacingexperienceinaretailrestaurantor foodserviceenvironmentpreferablyin a lead rolewith progressivemanagerialresponsibilities.
Demonstrated successcreating asuperiorguest experience and coaching others to do the sametrainingnewteam membersdirectingthe workofothersandachieving productivity goals.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook with comfort in learning new technologies.
WorkAvailability:Must have the flexibility to work various shifts including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays based on changing business demands.
