Saint Augustines University SAU drawing on its rich legacy as an access institution is a studentfocused comprehensive educational institution that produces outstanding graduates prepared for personal and professional success. SAU was established in 1867 in Raleigh NC by the Episcopal Diocese of North Carolina. A fouryear liberal arts university with an average enrollment of approximately 1000 SAU sits on 105 lush acres just north of Downtown Raleigh NC. The institution offers more than 20 undergraduate degrees and a Master of Public Administration MPA Program and is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges SACSCOC . Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Teach freshman and sophomore level Percussion courses. Qualified applicants must be committed to student learning integrating technology into the curriculum and encouraging engaged scholars. Maintain accurate student accounting records in compliance with St. Augustines University requirements. Submit required student reports to the Registrars Office according to schedule. Direct and evaluate the learning experience of the students in accordance with adopted curricula and approved procedures. Teach assigned classes in keeping with approved syllabi outlines and instructional materials. Provide counsel/guidance to students when there is a need. Faculty members may be required to teach online and/or hybrid classes. Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have a Masters (or higher) degree in the teaching field or a Masters (or higher) degree with 18 graduate hours in the teaching field.

Expertise in percussion performance Blackboard Learning Management System experience
