Hours: Various Days/Weekends/Nights

Employed by HomeCareDirect on behalf of theclient you will focus solely on delivering outstanding personcentred support.
Pay Rates:
Week Days: 15.00 per hour
Weekday Nights: 16.00per hour
Weekend Days: 16.00 per hour
Weekend Nights: 17.00per hour
Bank Holidays:
5 days paid at 1.5 times thehourly rate
3 days paid at double thehourly rate
Available Shifts:
Weare offering contracted hours for day night and weekend shifts. These will bediscussed during the screening process.
About the Client and KeyResponsibilities:
Our client is an energetic manin his early 30s who has cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair. He enjoys livinglife to the fullest and thrives with the right support team.
Working on a 2:1 basisalongside a small dynamic care team your key responsibilities will include:
- Administering medication
- Moving and handling using ahoist
- Providing gastrostomy and personalcare
- Assisting the client withcommunity activities
- Completing administrativetasks and general household duties
Requirements
Training and Support:
- We invest in your success byproviding paid comprehensive training to CQC standards including:
- Full induction and ongoingdevelopment
- Safeguarding Adults
- Health & Safety FirstAid and Food Hygiene
- Moving and handling with ahoist
- Administration of medicationvia PEG
- Gastrostomy care and pressurearea care
- Epilepsy awareness
Training is paid at 15.00 perhour and must be completed before your start date.
What Were Looking For:
Night shifts:Female applicants only
Day shifts: FullUK driving licence required
Previous care experience(essential)
Flexible and reliable with awillingness to cover holidays and training
