Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician/Electro Mechanic
Location: Chatham NY
Pay: $29.52 $32.93 per hour
Shift: Swing Shift (alternating weekly: 7 AM 3 PM and 3 PM 11 PM) OR Straight 3rd Shift
SignOn Bonus: $2500 (paid in 90day increments)

Your Role
As an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician/Electro Mechanic you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability efficiency and safety of our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Plant Engineer or Maintenance Supervisor you will perform proactive maintenance tasks to ensure highquality production and timely shipments. Safety quality and productivity are at the heart of our culture and we seek individuals who share these values.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and maintain auxiliary equipment to support production.
- Repair and maintain utility and facilityrelated equipment as directed.
- Assist and train other maintenance personnel in repairs preventive maintenance (PM) and rebuilds.
- Work closely with other departments to identify and resolve equipment issues.
- Ensure a safe clean and organized work environment.
- Lead small projects to maintain or upgrade equipment.
- Adhere to all company quality and safety policies.
What Were Looking For
- Experience in an industrial environment or military background in troubleshooting repairing and maintaining manufacturing equipment.
- Preferred experience with PLC troubleshooting industrial controls and motor controls.
- Comfortable working with mechanical lifts ladders kneeling bending twisting and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in an offshift position including weekends and overtime.
Additional Responsibilities
- Follow and enforce all safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and mitigate safety risks in equipment behavior and processes.
- Develop and execute preventive/predictive maintenance tasks to reduce equipment failures.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical pneumatic hydraulic piping electrical and robotic equipment.
- Utilize and maintain shop tools including lathes drills and milling machines.
- Read and interpret mechanical pneumatic hydraulic and electrical schematics.
- Ensure proper lubrication and maintenance of equipment.
- Develop modify troubleshoot and install PLC programs.
- Install troubleshoot and repair AC and DC drives/motors.
- Fabricate and install electrical piping pneumatic and mechanical components as needed.
