Full time Regional Support Veterinarian New Opportunity Great Compensation Gainesville/Ocala region
We are looking for a fulltime DVM to join our team as a Regional Support Veterinarian. This position will be responsible for providing support to our veterinary clinics in the Gainesville/Ocala region. The ideal candidate will have experience in a variety of areas including patient care surgery and preventive medicine.
Responsibilities of the Regional Support Veterinarian include:
- Providing clinical support to veterinary clinics in the Gainesville/Ocala region
- Performing patient examinations and consultations
- Diagnosing and treating illnesses and injuries
- Performing surgery
- Administering medications and treatments
- Developing and implementing preventive medicine plans
- Educating clients about pet care
Qualifications for the Regional Support Veterinarian include:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- Current license to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Florida
- At least 3 years of experience in a clinical setting
- Strong clinical skills and decisionmaking ability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
