Hours: 40 Hours Days

Position Summary:
The Provider Enrollment Manager is responsible for overseeing the enrollment of healthcare providers and the related institutions with insurance companies government agencies and other thirdparty payers. This includes managing the entire process from initial application submission to final approval. The role requires a strong understanding of healthcare regulations payer requirements and provider credentialing. The Provider Enrollment Manager will be capable of providing proper enrollment oversight that utilizes applicable software to allow for endtoend management of the application process with Medicare Medicaid and commercial insurance payors. The Provider Enrollment Manager will possess knowledge of current applicable federal state and payor regulations as they apply to provider enrollment and will stay abreast of any changes as they are made. Additionally the Provider Enrollment Manager will possess the necessary organizational skills to manage multiple competing priorities in a manner that allows for key constituents to be kept abreast of task status. The Provider Enrollment Manager will also act as a resource to providers for questions/needs associated with the provider enrollment process

Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Oversees daily operations to meet vision of providing service to the community.
  • Improves patient and/or customer satisfaction.
  • Responds to customer requests and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Meets/exceeds customer expectations so that the customers select and recommend Heywood Hospital as their primary
    source of healthcare.
  • Utilizes feedback to develop and anticipate future customer service needs systems.
  • Manages resources to ensure adequate resources and future growth.
  • Participates on task forces PI teams committees etc where applicable.
  • Ensures timely submission of required forms and documentation for all providers/institutions.
  • Ensures that all provider enrollments comply with applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Provides proper oversight of the provider enrollment process.
  • Provides timely updates on enrollment status to key constituents throughout the Organization.
  • Acts as a primary point of contact for enrollment process and is able to assist providers & peers in the enrollment process.
  • Properly utilizes software systems available to assist in the enrollment of providers.
  • Continuously evaluates & seeks to improve the provider enrollment process.
  • Adheres to a customer satisfaction philosophy and consistently follows the same:
    Provide reliable responsible consistent accurate
    quality service in a timely manner Demonstrate teamwork and cooperation in all
    organizational relationships
    Responsive to customer needs make others feel
    understood and comfortable.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with key constituents throughout the
    Organization.

Qualifications

Job Requirements
Minimum Education
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting Business Administration or Economics is required.

Minimum Work Experience

  • Requires 35 years of related provider enrollment experience.

Required Skills

  • Dynamic thinker that is comfortable in challenging conventional wisdom is
    highly motivated and whose interpersonal &/or customer service skills would be considered to be excellent.
  • Comfortable establishing professional relationships with
    program leadership physicians and other leaders in the Organization.
