Support worker Leeds LS27
Complete Care Agency aims to provide care for people who need assistance with their activities of daily living. Training provided to the staff ensures that care services are delivered to a high standard and meet the needs of the client. This also ensures the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved in the care of individuals are maintained at a high level.
We are seeking a team of female support workers to care for a client with a spinal injury.
The ideal candidate would be someone who can support our clients daily exercises and assist the client with personal care including hair makeup and nails. Happy to walk reasonable distances. Sociable but happy to give client space. Preparing meals. Keep the clients home clean tidy & organized.
This is a part time position around 25 hours a week
Various shifts available 07:00 15:00 and 14:00 22:00 Monday to Sunday.
Weekend working is required for this role.
Skills and personal characteristics needed to be a carer are;
Caring and kind with a desire to make a difference in clients lives.
Cheerful and friendly.
Willing to be handson with clients at all times while following their care plan.
Willing to do personal care tasks. (washing toileting etc.
Willing to undertake more complex care including tracheostomy nebulizers peg feeding or stoma and Bowel care.
Administering medication.
Able to follow instructions and procedures.
Able to prepare meals to the clients taste.
Able to work in a team but also use their initiative.
Willing to adapt to ongoing training as clients practice and needs may change.
