The Student Hubs team is the physical gateway to Waipapa Taumata Rau The University of Auckland. We provide a welcoming friendly and manaenhancing service for future and current students across their student journey.

We deliver a wide range of services to support students on their journey at Waipapa Taumata Rau University of Auckland. Our primary function is to deliver high quality inperson and online services that support students holistically. Our services include:

• Guidance and advice on being a student
• Navigation of the University systems spaces and processes
• Information about study options
• Support with applications and enrolments
• Library & Student IT services.

Our Hub Assistants provide a high standard of customer service assistance and advice across a wide range of enquiries helping current and prospective students to successfully navigate aspects of their student journey at the University of Auckland. Our team of Hub Assistants operate in a frontfacing role being the first point of contact for our services

We are looking for 4 highly motivated individuals to join our team of Hub Assistants who:

• Are strong team players who work well in a team environment and are also selfstarters
• Demonstrate good customer service skills
• Have the ability to solve problems creatively
• Work well in a fastpaced dynamic and professional environment
• Demonstrate empathy and care for others
• Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic that align with our values.

Vacancy 1: 8AM 4PM TuesdayFriday.

Vacancy 2: 2PM 8PM FridaySunday and 2 PM 10 PM Monday.

Vacancy 3: 2PM 10PM Thursday and 2PM 8PM FridaySunday

Vacancy 4: 10AM 6PM Monday Wednesday Saturday Sunday

All vacancies are permanent roles based at our City Campus Student Hub. The salary range for this role is $50700 $55000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Our Recruitment Process

We are conducting a volume recruitment process that includes a group activity and individual interviews. Both parts of the recruitment process will take place on Monday 14 April 2025 (Group 1: 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM Group 2: 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. Shortlisted candidates must be available to attend the group interview on this day.

The start date for all roles will be Monday 19 May 2025 and there will be a twoweek induction & training programme primarily based at the City Campus.
