Your Responsibilities
- Design craft deploy monitor and maintain our optimization platform endtoend across dimensions such as data ingestion and processing optimization logic implementation battery control automated power trading accounting and settlement
- Work crossfunctionally especially with data scientists to support them in the implementation of our optimization logic automated trading and battery control
- Closely collaborate with fellow software engineers explain the various tradeoffs made in decisions and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and to distribute knowledge
- Proactively participate in resolving ongoing incidents
- Maintain and improve our tech stack and development environments and build infrastructure from how services are developed and tested to how they are built and integrated to how they are monitored
Your Profile
- 1 years experience in Software Engineering (Backend and algorithmic) in the cloud
- 1 years experience withPython including objectoriented design
- Evidence of being a fast learner
- Great communication skills to effectively bring across complex ideas and concepts with an ability to work on solutions individually
- Experience and desire to work in a dynamic fastpaced environment
- Strategic and analytical thinking
- Full business proficiency in English
- Familiarity with AWS cloud platform and services like Lambda DynamoDb ApiGW
- Energy industry experience
- Design thinking/sprint experience
- You dont have the habit of defining your own tasks and expect other functions to do them
- You are used to working in clear separate functions

Im Christian Buckl Head of Software at Entrix & Flexa. My professional journey has been deeply rooted in the intersection of technology and industry spanning areas such as autonomous driving and cloudbased systems that serve millions of users. Over the years Ive had the privilege of contributing to various innovative projects and leading teams dedicated to pushing the boundaries of whats possible in our field.
At LyftI initially built the incar middleware system for autonomous driving. Later my team and I developed the inhouse mapping stackincluding the routing engine and estimatedtimeofarrival (ETA) systempowering millions of rides.
At AppleI led a team in the Special Projects Group focused on autonomous systems.
At SiemensI spearheaded software development for a startup within Siemens creating a hardware/software platform for autonomous electric vehicles.
Before that I was a founding member of fortiss a nonprofit research organization in Munich.
