An independent specialist school providing highquality therapeutic and childcentred education for boys and girls aged 6 to 17. Our students have Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and many also have Autism ADHD and communication difficulties.
We are a trauma and attachmentinformed organisation providing extensive therapeutic training and support for all staff. Our collaborative approach ensures that education therapy professionals parents/carers and local authority teams work together to achieve outstanding outcomes.
We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Head Teacher who embodies our ethos and is passionate about creating a supportive and engaging educational environment. You will work closely with our Regional Executive Head Teacher Head Teacher and a specialist Regional SENCO ensuring high standards of education and care. This role includes a teaching element.
Lead and manage the school in alignment with our therapeutic and childcentred approach
Collaborate with external agencies to influence lasting change
Drive the quality of education alongside a dedicated leadership team
Teach a subject specialism to GCSE or equivalent vocational level
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Proven track record of good or outstanding teaching practice
Ability to teach a subject specialism to GCSE or vocational level
Experience in crisis management and working with SEMH students
Strong leadership and communication skills
Experience in implementing an engaging and creative curriculum
Proven ability to work with hardtoreach or disengaged families
