Job Description

Temp

Assign drivers to dock doors where they will be offloaded Reads and compares freight bills/ cargo manifests with physical freight being received Notes all damaged shorted material and /or overages of material being received off freight documents. Palletizes freight. Scans Packing slips. Communicates with spotter using radio for all trailer movements Maintains good housekeeping. Segregates freight according to facility. Labels pallets according to facility locations. Loads trailers with freight accordingly. Ensures that no nonconformant freight is shipped at any time. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
