Kinetic the leading and most environmentally friendly bus operator in Australia and New Zealand is thrilled to present a unique opportunity for women in Tasmania to become trainee bus drivers!
Our aim is to achieve a workforce that is 50 female across our entire company.
We are delighted to introduce the Women Up Front program in Tasmania and we look forward to having you join us in the fastpaced world of bus driving!
No prior experience as a bus driver is necessary. All you need is a valid car drivers license and a positive mindset to apply.
Our Women Up Front Trainee Bus Driver program offers comprehensive training and support to help you become a confident licensed bus driver.
The program includes:
- A welcoming and supportive work environment
- A comprehensive induction program featuring both classroom and onroad training
- Lessons to obtain a Medium Rigid (MR) licence
- Competitive pay throughout the training period
We are looking for individuals who possess:
- Outstanding customer service skills and a passion for working with people
- A valid Australian car drivers license (held for at least two years)
- The ability to pass a preemployment functional test drug and alcohol screening as well as obtain a Driver Accreditation and Working With Vulnerable Peoples Check.
- Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
