Role Details:
As a Senior Protective Security Specialist you will be a key member of the Protective Security Team reporting to the Protective Security Manager. This role focuses on providing expert security risk management personnel security and electronic security system oversight to reduce security risks across the enterprise.
What youll do:
- Conduct security risk assessments Identify and mitigate physical and personnel security risks across Visys diverse operations.
- Enhance electronic security systems Review improve and standardize electronic security system procurement and management.
- Foster security awareness & training Promote a culture of security through education training and proactive risk management.
- Advise on personnel security Provide expert guidance on workforce security risks insider threats and security clearances.
- Lead incident response & investigations Support the response and resolution of security breaches threats and critical incidents.
- Drive security compliance & best practices Ensure protective security measures align with business needs and industry standards.
- Collaborate across teams Work closely with the Protective Security Manager Cyber Security Risk and Infrastructure teams to strengthen Visys security posture.
What you will bring:
- 5 years experience in protective security corporate security or law enforcement.
- Strong risk management incident response and investigative skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple security initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Experience reporting to senior executives on major security issues.
- Sharp analytical thinking and a proactive approach to problemsolving.
- Expertise in security frameworks (PSPF SOCI Critical Infrastructure Protection).
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure adapt priorities and drive missionfocused outcomes.
- A handson humble approach with strong problemsolving & decisionmaking skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to align security initiatives with business goals.
