We are looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Lawyerto join our growing team in Australia. This position is available in either Adelaide Melbourne Sydney or Brisbane.

About the role

As a key member of Orros Commercial Team the Commercial Lawyer will play a crucial role in enabling the business to contract efficiently and effectively with our customers partners and suppliers. This role is newly created to support our growth and to ensure we meet our strategic objectives while maintaining legal and regulatory compliance.

The Commercial Lawyer will be responsible for managing and overseeing the companys commercial contracts providing legal advice across various functions and mitigating risks associated with our commercial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial law excellent negotiation and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Draft review and negotiate commercial contracts with customers partners and suppliers.
  • Provide legal support and advice to the commercial team and other departments as needed.
  • Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline contract management.
  • Support the company in dispute resolution and litigation matters as required.

Skills Knowledge & Experience

We are looking for a wellorganised professional with initiative and enthusiasm. You will have at least 5 years of relevant experience and will have a good mix of the following skills knowledge & experience:

  • Strong understanding of commercial law and contract management.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and concisely.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working in a fastpaced dynamic environment.

Desirable but not required experience:

  • Law degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience within the technology or telecommunications industry is desirable.
