Food Technology Teacher (September Start)
Location: Sutton Coldfield
School: TopRated Secondary School
Salary: MPS/UPS
We are seeking a passionate Food Technology Teacher to join our outstanding secondary school in Sutton Coldfield starting in September. As a Food Technology Teacher you will deliver handson lessons that allow students to explore the fascinating world of food science and practical cooking skills.
As a Food Technology Teacher you will:
- Teach Food Technology to Key Stage 3 and 4 students.
- Plan and deliver practical lessons including cooking demonstrations and food science experiments.
- Provide feedback on students Food Technology work helping them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Develop the Food Technology curriculum in collaboration with the department.
The ideal Food Technology Teacher will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Have a strong knowledge of Food Technology and a passion for teaching it.
- Have experience teaching Food Technology at the secondary level.
- Be able to incorporate technology into Food Technology lessons effectively.
