Job Title: LMR Systems Communications Engineer Location: Hybrid Must be local or able to relocate for Day 1
- This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be local to Michigan or willing to relocate for onsite work.
Job Description:
- Design and implement Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems.
- Develop frequency plans and facilitate FCC licensing processes for LMR systems.
- Plan and coordinate licensing for conventional and trunked LMR systems across VHF UHF and 7/800 MHz frequency bands.
- Ensure compliance with Part 90 of the FCCs Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
- Support 4.9 GHz migration planning and relicensing procedures.
- Coordinate with Canada on frequency use and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Work with FCCcertified business and public safety frequency coordinators.
- Collaborate with 7/800 MHz Regional Planning Committees (RPCs) on system development.
