Job Description
Pay Range: $29.10 to $36.40 per hour.
(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am4:59am).
- Monitor and dispatch loads shipped within the Foster Farms Logistics network.
- Make delivery appointments and schedule drivers and equipment to facilitate the further delivery of backhaul freight as needed.
- Load tracking and researching problems
- Update Logistics software as required
- Performance reporting
- Facilitate the rotation of 500 plus pieces of equipment through various internal and external repair facilities for service and repair.
- Assign equipment for all outbound loads
- Direct operations to facilitate the timely departure and delivery of all loads to include: internal External Backhauls Shuttles
- Provide trailers for shipping and storage at all California facilities
Qualifications :
- Federal Hours of Service Rules
- DMV Regulations
- DOT Regulations
- Class 8 equipment operation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word Excel; SAP Experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal history background check
- Minimum 1 year of experience (transportation type setting)
