Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our operations in Libya. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of SIDEMs business activities in the country including project management business development and stakeholder relations.
As Country Manager for Libya your responsabilities will include:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand SIDEMs presence in the Libyan market.
- Oversee the of desalination projects ensuring they are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government officials partners and clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead the preparation of proposals and tenders.
- Manage the financial performance of the Libyan operations including budgeting forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations company policies and international standards.
- Lead and develop a highperforming team fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other regional directors and the global leadership team to share best practices and drive companywide initiatives.
Qualifications :
You have a Bachelors degree in Engineering Business Administration or a related field; Masters degree preferred with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the water treatment or desalination industry with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
You also have proven track record of successfully managing largescale projects in Libya or similar markets.
You have a strong understanding of the Libyan business environment including local regulations and cultural nuances excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills.
You are fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Arabic is a plus.
Also you have demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with highlevel stakeholders and strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and P&L statements.
