Position: Production Accountant
Our client a manufacturing company based in Nairobi County has retained us to recruit for them a critical position in their finance department.
Key Requirements:
- Education: A graduate degree in accounting.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
- Specialization: Proficiency in manufacturing cost accounting and the ability to perform production analysis.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of cost accounting principles related to manufacturing and the capability to generate reports that provide valuable insights for management.
- Professional Qualities:
- Accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Behavioral Qualities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professionalism in handling sensitive financial information.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
Role Overview:
The selected Production Accountant will be responsible for overseeing cost accounting functions related to our manufacturing operations. This includes conducting detailed production analysis ensuring accurate financial records and preparing reports that will be used by management to make informed decisions. The role demands a high level of professionalism and a thorough understanding of the manufacturing process from a financial perspective.
