About Us
ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract Serco in partnership with Bupa provide defenceready clinical and support staff across 50 onbase locations nationally ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality onsite medical care. About the Role
As an Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible for providing outpatient assessment and health promotion services to patients under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. You will assess the level of care required for patients and set priorities accordingly as well as initiating treatment for minor injuries and illnesses.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
- Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2 General with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- 2 years fulltime post registration nursing experience within the last 5 years (or parttime equivalent) in an acute care primary healthcare or military setting.
- Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA.
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009 certification.
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team to support the delivery of safe efficient and highquality care to patients.
About Holsworthy
Holsworthy Health Centre is located at Holsworthy Barracks 25 kilometres south west of central Sydney. Located on the 20000hectare base the Health Centre is comprised of a 41bed inpatient ward and provides outpatient services including dentistry psychology and physiotherapy. Holsworthy base is also home to the Defence Force Correctional Establishment whose detainees are visited by RNs daily. This health centre operates 24/7.
