I have a client located in the Abbotsford Wisconsin area that has an opportunity for an electrical controls engineer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in discussing this role please click Apply.

In this role as an electrical controls engineer you will be working for a client that is in the automation equipment industry. This position will be responsible for designing schematics creating programs testing programs and creating a build of materials. This position will be designing mostly using Allen Bradley and AutoCAD and will require around 15 travel.

This position is a temporary to a possible permanent role that is a longterm need for my client.

Job Requirements

  • Three 3 or more years of experience as a controls engineer or PLC programmer.
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or another related field.
  • Proficient and strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley and AutoCAD.
  • Experience working with Rockwell CompactLogix and Panelview.
  • Experience with electrical schematics.
  • Experience testing programs.
  • Strong work ethic.
