In this role as an electrical controls engineer you will be working for a client that is in the automation equipment industry. This position will be responsible for designing schematics creating programs testing programs and creating a build of materials. This position will be designing mostly using Allen Bradley and AutoCAD and will require around 15 travel.
This position is a temporary to a possible permanent role that is a longterm need for my client.
Job Requirements
- Three 3 or more years of experience as a controls engineer or PLC programmer.
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or another related field.
- Proficient and strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley and AutoCAD.
- Experience working with Rockwell CompactLogix and Panelview.
- Experience with electrical schematics.
- Experience testing programs.
- Strong work ethic.
