Textiles Teacher Creative Role Starting in Shrewsbury
About the Role
We are excited to welcome a talented Textiles Teacher to our highachieving school in Shrewsbury starting in September. As a Textiles Teacher you will lead students through exciting projects involving fashion design fabric manipulation and garment construction. This position offers the chance to nurture students creativity and design skills preparing them for future careers in the fashion and design industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in textiles.
- Guide students through design projects from concept to creation.
- Encourage creativity critical thinking and technical proficiency.
- Support students individual progress through personalized feedback and assessments.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- A strong background in textiles or fashion design.
- Ability to inspire students and promote creativity.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
