We are looking for an experienced Production Cleaning Supervisor to join our management team.Position Summary: We are looking to hire a Production Cleaning Supervisor to oversee all aspects of foundry product cleaning operations including tasks such as grinding scarfing welding and other production processes. This role will also involve serving as a company ambassador during customer and supplier visits as well as acting as a change agent to help advance the company and its initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills a deep understanding of foundry operations and a commitment to driving continuous improvement within the team.Responsibilities: - Responsible for daily oversight of foundry cleaning operations by aligning daily and weekly business goals to meet safety quality delivery and financial targets
- Drive timely production and delivery of customer orders monitor and communicate schedules
- Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure products meet industry standards and meet customer expectations
- Supports training programs to ensure employees are trained effectively and efficiently ensuring compliance with all production procedures and work instructions
- Works with Environmental Health & Safety to maintain and enforce policies and procedures which include applicable regulatory requirements
- Serves as technical subject matter expert; point of contact for new products including quality and materials to optimize methods to meet product requirements
- Reviews and adjusts roles overtime and headcount requirements to meet changing production needs and targets; evaluates performance of team regularly against job requirements
Qualifications:- 10 years of progressive experience in a foundry environment with at least 5 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge and skills in the design and manufacturing of lowcarbon steel castings.
- Proven track record of process improvements with a strong drive and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and influence teams alongside strong business acumen.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to build positive relationships with team members customers and suppliers.
