- Maintain truck stock inventory within the prescribed company guidelines and standards
- Complete all required Training Certification and OEM/brand technician training
- Update work order status in a timely manner
- Minimum of 25 years of experience as an appliance repair technician including sealed system proficiency
- EPA (refrigerant handling) certification is required
- Ability to use basic hand tools and industry diagnostic and repair equipment (Voltohm meter Amprobe CO detector etc.
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record with 510 years of driving experience
- Comfortable around dogs cats and other pets that may be present in the customers homes
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays (if necessary)
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficient in ServiceDesk or similar reporting systems

As an appliance repair technician youll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. In other words youll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances portable appliances mechanical work as well as electrical work.
Youll deal with more than just appliances though as a repair technician youll have to deal with people too.
Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude have impeccable written and verbal communication skills work adeptly with repair tools be okay with lifting heavy machinery and of course be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.
