- Estimated Compensation: $17.75 to 22.68 per year (Negotiable based on experience)

Working Hours:
The Data Entry Clerk shall perform the services during the following hours: Monday through Friday 0730 to 1630. Data Entry Clerk will not work more than 40 hours per week.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and/or GED.
- Must have a minimum of at least six months of data entry experience.
- Competent in operating personal computer systems and Microsoft Office Products.
- Basic communication skills are essential for dealing with Military and Family Readiness Center staff.
- Basic understanding of military protocol support group organizations and family systems in a military setting and the ability to communicate and work effectively with a diverse population.
- Required to dress appropriately for a professional atmosphere.
- Be familiar with using a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft computer software applications.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Knowledge of office automation software programs tools and techniques to support programs and produce documents such as emails reports spreadsheets databases and graphs.
- Be skilled in typing and working with a variety of office equipment.
- Ability to locate assemble and compose information for routine reports inquiries and nontechnical correspondence is required.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing using tact and courtesy. Must be able to read write speak and understand English.
- Have the ability to plan organize work and meet deadlines.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Update client information in Virtual Military Personnel Flight (vMPF) and track a visit in Air Force Family Integrated Results and Statistical Tracking (AFFIRST) upon completion.
- Assist Military and Family Readiness Center staff with front desk duties and responsibilities including phone operations and scheduling.
- Scheduled in rotation on monthly staff calendar.
- Schedule and communicate with customers via telephone and/or email about the Transition Assistance Program (TAP) related classes/workshops.
- Assist the TAP manager with issuing and collecting government laptops to customers for classroom instructional purposes.
- Assist the TAP manager with setting up a classroom for scheduled TAPrelated workshops/classes.
- Track all informal customer visits and telephone calls in AFFIRST daily.
- Create and update TAPrelated workshops in the database system (AFFIRST) and update attendance after the conclusion of the PreSeparation Briefing Transition Assistance Workshop Veterans Benefits Briefings Capstone and twoday GPS Tracks.
- Update the client checklist on the Service Member Preseparation / Transition Counseling and Career Readiness Standards Eform for Service Members Separating Retiring Released from Active Duty (REFRAD) DD Form 2648 in milConnect after the PreSeparation Briefing is completed.
- Update client checklist on DD Form 2648 in milConnect after completing the fiveday Transition Workshop.
- Maintain accountability statistics for the Transition Assistance Program in AFFIRST.
- Provide daily signup sheets for Transition Assistance Program workshops/classes.
- Be familiar with internet databases.
- Confirm attendance by email and/or telephone with all workshop/seminar participants prior to the start date.
- Maintain the work area neat and orderly and comply with privacy act information.
