Van Buren Twp - Full time day shift
About the Unit
Our team is comprised of Pharmacists Pharmacy Techs and Stock Clerks. The team at the fulfillment center is responsible for the dispensing and shipping of specialty medications while ensuring the integrity of the medication during storage and shipment. Our purpose is to provide essential medications to improve the well-being of our patients.
Scope of Work
Under the direction and supervision of a Pharmacist performs a variety of functions related to receiving stocking and delivery of medications within an acute care or non-acute care pharmacy. Performs pharmacy functions not requiring a license to support the operations of the department. Receives and signs for incoming medications comparing items and quantities received to purchase order. Assists in stocking medication within the pharmacy. Rotates stock and maintains a clean stock area. Packages and ships home delivery prescriptions. Orders shipping supplies. Responds to customer requests for package tracking information.
Qualifications
Required High School Diploma or equivalent A level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of a general high school diploma program or GED.
Prefer previous hospital pharmacy experience or graduate of a pharmacy technician training program. Preferred
