This position is within the Tolling Services team of Deutsche Telekom IT Solutions Hungary. The team consists of IT professionals specializing in electronic roadcharging solutions. Together with our partners we develop and operate intelligent kilometerbased tolling systems for international customers covering the entire business process (vehicle registrations country booking providing OnBoard Units position data transmission charge calculation and fleet billing). Leveraging digital intelligence and advanced technology our tolling solutions facilitate seamless mobility across Europe. The team aims to enhance existing services and expand into new domains. As part of an international team collaborating with TSystems International you will play a key role in supporting our customers with cuttingedge tolling solutions.
Main tasks
As a Cloud DevOps Engineer you will:
- Design deploy and manage scalable reliable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as EKS EC2 and S3.
- Work closely with development architecture security and operations teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous delivery.
- Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and implement improvements to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate infrastructure improve processes and support the software development lifecycle.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters ensuring proper scaling resilience and security.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in the infrastructure.
- Automate and maintain configuration management using tools like Terraform Ansible and Helm.
- Provide oncall support for production environments responding to incidents to ensure rapid recovery and minimal downtime.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve DevOps processes and infrastructure.
Qualifications :
Background and required skills:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT.
- 3 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on AWS services particularly EKS and EC2.
- Handson experience with containerization and orchestration tools especially Kubernetes.
- Proficiency with infrastructureascode tools such as Terraform Ansible and Helm.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus Grafana or CloudWatch.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins GitLab CI or Artifactory.
- Strong communication skills and excellent proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
- Eagerness to learn grow and collaborate in a team environment.
- Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum Kanban or SAFe and experience working in agile teams.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence.
