About the Role:
As the Director of Womens Services you will oversee Labor & Delivery Postpartum and Nursery/NICU Units ensuring excellence in patient care staff competency and operational efficiency. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer you will drive strategic initiatives develop highperforming teams and optimize resources to deliver outstanding outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead 24/7 operations for Labor & Delivery Postpartum and Nursery/NICU Units
- Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards
- Manage staffing budgeting and performance improvement initiatives
- Foster collaboration between multidisciplinary teams to enhance patientcentered care
- Provide leadership and professional development for nursing staff
- Oversee recruitment hiring training and mentorship programs
- Ensure optimal patient safety satisfaction and quality outcomes
What You Need to Succeed:
MustHaves:
- Active RN license in North Carolina
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (Masters preferred)
- BLS Certification
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in a womens health setting
- Strong background in hospital operations and patientcentered care
- Excellent communication strategic planning and teambuilding skills
