Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Hourly Rate: $22.23 $27.37 (based on experience)
Role Overview:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will be responsible for managing patient flow throughout the clinic and assisting providers in delivering highquality care. This position involves working with patients of all ages including infants children adolescents adults and geriatrics. The CMA will work under the direction of providers clinic supervisors and managers to ensure an efficient and patientcentered clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Care:
- Perform standard rooming procedures including taking vitals and patient history.
- Administer immunizations injections and medications as directed by the provider.
- Collect laboratory specimens and perform basic lab tests.
- Provide telephone support and facilitate communication between patients and providers.
- Assist with prescription refills.
- Perform xray duties if certified and required.
- Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed.
Clinic Support:
- Assist with front desk and patient checkin processes.
- Order and maintain medical supplies.
- Manage prior authorizations for procedures and medications.
Compliance & Documentation:
- Adhere to all regulatory legal and procedural requirements.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
- Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
- Licensure: Must meet state requirements for medical assisting.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a clinical setting preferred.
- Additional Competencies: Phlebotomy and xray operator certification (if applicable).
- Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) Active
