Job Description
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in computer science software engineering or a related field
- 4 years of experience as a Modernization TPM in a clientfacing role or consulting environment
- 3 years of recent (last 10 years) handson experience as a software developer working with legacy code bases (e.g. .NET Visual Basic COBOL Java)
- Proven experience planning and executing modernization/migration projects from legacy tech stacks to modern tech stacks
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts tools and practical applications
- Proven ability to gather and document technical requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for engineering teams
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Trello Jira) and Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum Kanban XP)
- Experience overseeing the migration of virtual machines (VMs) to containers and modernization project timelines resource allocations
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across technical and nontechnical teams
- C1/C2 (advanced/proficient) level English is required
Experience in any of the following is preferred not required:
- Strong understanding of legacy code patterns standards and antipatterns
- Strong understanding of modern code patterns standards antipatterns and architecture
- 1 year working in AI/ML related projects and with Data Scientists
- Some experience with Generative AI and LLMs
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure or Google Cloud)
- Project management certifications (e.g. PMP Agile Scrum Master)
