Business and Economics Teacher Surrey Secondary School
An Outstanding secondary school in Surrey is seeking a versatile and skilled Business and Economics Teacher to join their dynamic department. This is a fulltime permanent position teaching both subjects at Key Stages 4 and 5. The school offers a stimulating environment where students can explore the interconnectedness of business and economic principles.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver highquality lessons in both Business and Economics making connections between the two disciplines where appropriate.
- Prepare students for relevant qualifications (e.g. GCSE ALevel BTEC) in both subjects.
- Develop students understanding of key concepts in business management marketing finance and macro/microeconomics.
- Foster critical thinking analytical skills and the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to realworld scenarios.
- Assess student progress effectively and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of both the Business and Economics curricula.
- Teaching at an Outstanding rated school.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A degree in Business Economics or a closely related field.
- Proven experience teaching both Business and Economics at Key Stages 4 and 5.
- Strong subject knowledge in both disciplines and the ability to integrate them effectively.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A desire to teach as a Business and Economics Teacher
