The Opportunity

Orrcon Steel is looking for a Night Shift Storeperson in our Operations team based in Kewdale WA. Orrcon Steel is a manufacturer of steel tube and pipe and leading Australian steel distributor with nationally recognised brands.

When you join our team you will benefit from:

• fulltime permanent role
• Sunday to Friday 10pm to 6:06am where you finish the shift pattern on Friday at 6am. 
• the salary range will be between $28.54 up to $33.26 plus super (experience dependant) and yearly bonus!
• 30%night shift loading to increase your salary

What Will You Do 

You will be responsible for receiving and storing materials assembling and loading orders and dispatch duties you will also:

• safely load and unload trucks
• operate forklifts and other machine processing equipment including learning to drive trucks (onsite only) and magnetic cranes
• pick and pack from stock onsite to create specific orders
• be responsible for the safety of yourself and your coworkers
• ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through your service levels

More About You  

As someone who enjoys working in a physically active role and as part of a team you will bring: 

• forklift licence with proven experience in bulk products
• Gantry crane experience preferred but training can be provided
• truck driver licence and experience in driving in a warehouse preferred
• effective communication skills a cando attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• ability to think on your feet providing safe and workable solutions
• a commitment to your own safety and wellbeing and care for others
