Job Description


Position Type: LongTerm Substitute
Subjects Available: Biology Spanish 1
Duration: Openended with 30day notice if the role is filled

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current CA 30Day Substitute Teaching Permit (or in progressapplication may take up to 8 weeks).
  • Experience: Background in teaching or tutoring Biology or Spanish is preferred.
  • Skills: Effective classroom management clear communication and a commitment to student engagement and growth.

Role and Responsibilities
As a LongTerm Substitute Teacher

  • Deliver engaging lessons in Biology or Spanish 1 following the curriculum and ensuring continuity of learning for students.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment ensuring students feel supported and inspired.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing feedback to help them achieve academic goals.
  • Collaborate with staff and administration to maintain a cohesive learning experience.
