About the Music Department: The Music Department is home to a team of passionate creative Music Teacher professionals. Music Teachers collaborate closely to create inspiring lessons and contribute to curriculum innovation.
Music Teacher Responsibilities:
- Teach Music across KS3/4 and potentially ALevel.
- Develop and deliver inspiring and interactive lessons.
- Assess and report on student progress and development.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Music curriculum.
Music Teacher Qualifications and Experience:
- A relevant degree (Music or related).
- PGCE or QTS.
- Experience teaching Music in a secondary school (including PGCE placements).
- ECTs are encouraged to apply.
Music Teacher Salary & Benefits:
- Competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale depending on experience.
