The school follows the Cambridge curriculum from Early Years through to A-Levels and places a strong emphasis on creativity play-based learning and early childhood development.

The Early Years Music Teacher will play a key role in delivering engaging age-appropriate music experiences that support both musical development and wider early learning goals. You will:
Plan and deliver creative music lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Cambridge frameworks
Introduce young children to rhythm melody instruments and musical expression through song movement and play
Support language development motor skills and social interaction through music-based activities
Foster a positive inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Collaborate with class teachers to integrate music across the wider early years curriculum
Organise small performances or musical showcases where appropriate
Maintain records of student participation and developmental progress
Participate in early years team planning meetings and school events
Follow safeguarding and child protection policies.
Essential
A degree in Music Music Education Early Childhood Education or related field
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS Diploma in Teaching)
Minimum 2 years of teaching experience ideally with young children
Experience delivering music education within an Early Years or Foundation Stage setting.
Strong knowledge of the Cambridge Early Years or similar international early childhood frameworks
Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
Warm patient and engaging approach with young children
Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
Desirable
Proficiency in one or more musical instruments
Experience in international or bilingual schools
Familiarity with supporting EAL learners
Willingness to contribute to school events performances and extracurricular activities
