- Drive Software Development: Lead the software development process in alignment with our 7Stages Development Process and R&D Product Strategy.
- Collaborate with Product and Program Managers: Ensure strategic alignment and clarity of objectives through close collaboration with Product and Program Managers.
- Ensure HighQuality Delivery: Guarantee highquality software delivery through structured development processes including automated testing code reviews and security assessments.
- Enhance Product Usability: Partner with teams across R&D to enhance product usability and maintain industryleading standards in security and performance.
- Lead Innovation: Drive technical and process innovation continuously improving development methodologies.
- Mentor and Coach: Mentor coach and appraise engineers fostering an environment for career growth and professional development.
- Performance Management: Address performance management proactively ensuring team members meet expectations and receive constructive feedback.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Drive recruitment onboarding and upskilling efforts to build a strong engineering team.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain proactive relationships with internal stakeholders including support teams to ensure minimal R&D time spent on escalations.
- Champion Quality: Advocate for a right first time development approach reducing the need for extensive support interventions postdeployment.
- AI/ML Expertise: Leverage knowledge and passion for AI/ML to drive innovation and enhance our product offerings.
Qualifications :
- Educational Background and Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field with 7 years of software engineering experience including 4 years in leadership roles.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of advanced software engineering principles Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices. Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g. Python Java C# Go).
- Leadership and Innovation: Proven ability to lead R&D initiatives foster innovation and drive continuous improvement within engineering teams.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Excellent mentorship and coaching abilities with a focus on career development and performance management.
- Software Development Mastery: Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle including best practices for quality assurance deployment and cloudnative technologies.
