Job Description

Provide basic office and clericalsupport to a department or function.Duties will include basic computer data entry word processing filingresponding to incoming telephone or inperson inquiries. Provide assistance asrequested requiring excellent customer service and communications skills. Work with closesupervisions and follow predetermined instructions.

  • Reports are generated timely and accurately
  • Information is input into computer system accurately
  • Office supplies are ordered and inventory maintained asneeded.
  • Appointments are scheduled and calendars maintained withsensitivity to scheduling conflicts.
  • Meetings or events are scheduled and coordinated. Equipmentand materials are available as needed.
  • Travel arrangements are made appropriately to time andscheduling needs of participants.
  • Meetings are attended and meeting notes are prepared anddistributed to attendees.
  • Presentation materials are prepared accurately and timely.
  • Correspondence and other written communications aredrafted for final approval.
  • Additionaldepartment organization or network activities are completed per establishedobjectives.
  • PCCOrganizational Values of Innovation Collaboration Accountability Respectand Excellence are upheld.

Education/Degree
  • High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
Experience
  • Prior office experience preferred
Skills(Specificlearned activity gained through training (e.g. computer skills keyboardingpresentation CPR ACLS etc.
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required with ability tolearn new programs
  • Ability to use basic office equipment (e.g. phones faxcopiers scanners etc.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with adiverse population
  • Excellent written verbal and electronic communications
