Job Role: Receptionist
Working Hours: 35 hours week Monday Friday 09:00-17:00 (including 1-hour unpaid lunch break)
Pay: 14.30 per hour
Location: Q4 The Square Randalls Way Leatherhead KT22 7TW
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services for a friendly and professional Receptionist to join the team.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they have good attention to detail have excellent communications skills a positive can-do attitude and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include:
- Greet and welcome guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer phone calls redirect calls and take messages as necessary
- Manage the reception area including keeping it clean and organised
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for staff
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing photocopying and data entry
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk
- Provide general administrative support to staff as needed
Requirements
- Previous work experience as a Receptionist or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
- Customer service attitude
